Hi friends anybody can suggest me a low cost or license free IDE and compiler for development of products based on 8051 and PIC controllers

as said sdcc is license free and open source .
you can get or make an ide if you use.

sdcc is for both 8051 and pic

I would also go with MPLAB for PICs, and use the C18 compiler.

sdcc with code::blocks

at least for the 8051..

you must make the pic port on SDCC to work with code::blocks...

FOr 8051 keil compiler and. PIC MPLAB IDE with hitech C ...
