LM2576 5.0 circuit output problem

yes i did,
the bunch ic having printing mistake

even i can't believe it could happened

then i bought same ic from another seller and i got the result as same configuration shown in datasheet

Most likely a counterfeit.

Many years ago, the company I work for purchased some LM2674-5, which failed to work.
Sending them for failure analysis to National Semi, they replied that the device was something else. And that the die markings on the chip had been registered as a defective lot.

I ignore how often counterfeit ICs occur nowadays, but 10 years ago it was a plague.
