there r huge IC design companies in germany and england and italy
u can find amd fab in germany also.
u must tell which country u focussing?

Yes i mean Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain...
I heard that there are fab-less companies for IC or board design.

Do you know what kind of jobs do they usually offer?

as a freshers they will offer verification and coding part only.
after some time later they can do what ur want
