is there anybody who has run the spb15.5 on a ubuntu box?

so here is the problem, I have installed it on ubuntu6.06, but how to launch the allegro. should i configure the license? when i was installing the program didn't ask me for the license. thanks guys.

no, not mine, my lab‘s license.

Added after 9 minutes:

I installed it just follow this ugly recipe:

cd cdrom1/E024_SPB155_ln86_1of5
./SETUP.SH
display:
Specify path of install directory [OR type [RETURN] to exit]:
enter:
/opt/spb

Directory /opt/spb does not exist. Create? [y/n]: y
Do you want to use InstallScape [y/n]:n
Specify path of install directory [OR type [RETURN] to exit]: enter
cd /opt/spb/install/bin.lnx86
./softload
start install
select 1-1-2-cdrom1/E024_SPB155_ln86_1of5
display:
Please press y (yes) or n (no) : no
select
4) Cadence Catalog

Your package selections require SPB155 lnx86 P/N 356-73303-0102 CDROM # 2.
1) 2)
3) SPB155 lnx86 P/N 356-73303-0102 CDROM # 2 already mounted on /home/chenqs/cdrom1/E024_SPB155_ln86_1of5, continue.

4) Change CD-ROM mount point.

Type your choice:

You must now identify where the CD-ROM is mounted.

1) Local (mounted to this machine)

select2, and specify the mount point

cd /opt/spb/install
ln -s tools.lnx86 tools

should i setup the envionment variables?how?
