Interfacing CMOS image sensors

Hello Everyone one

I am facing a project where I have to transmit the MIPI CSI-2 Sensor output through a coaxial cable of 15meters.

I have been making a research in Google and there are several possibilities, but basically there are two:

Using a combination of SerDes or using Ethernet 10Gbps. Focusing on the SerDes option, there are several protocols:
HD-SDI, Camera Link, FFPD Link, etc. Having into account that the application is aviation (the camera should be mounted in an airplane) I am wondering which is the best protocol should I use..

Any recommendation?.

I doubt that it's possible to send a multi GBPS base band signal through a 15 m coax-cable. Too much attenuation and pulse distortion.

10GBASE-T uses complex modulation (QAM64) to transmit 2.5GBPS per twisted pair. Similar methods may be used over coax cable, but there's no common standard.

Possible it is, because some parts like THCV241 and THCV242 can make this link up to 15m. However these two parts are not the best one for aviation. The CMOS sensor is delivering pixels data at 2.7Gbps s on splitter in 4 MIPI data lanes. So it is around 700Mbps per lane. Maybe a 1GB Ethernet link is enough. How many Gbps can transmit a twisted pair in a 1gb eth link?

1000BASE-T transmits 250 Mbps on each pair over 100m.

THine V-by-One HS (THCV241 etc.) looks interesting. Unfortunately I don't see a specification of range and speed versus cable performance. THine claims to use adaptive equalization on the receiver side.
