Installation of IC 610 on ubuntu 11.14

Hi All,
I meet a problem when I try to install the IC610 on ubuntu 11.14.
I followed the instructions here:https://www.edaboard.com/threads/230070/
Here is the problem I met.
After it install the first CD, it cannot find the 2nd CD automatically. I extracted the 5 CD in the same folder with the name of CDROM1~CDROM5. I changed the permission to 777.
Did I do anything wrong? Does anyone have any idea how should I solve this?

Hello,

To install Cadence on Ubuntu, I extracted all the CD in the same folder CDROM1.
First, you extract the first CD, it will contain a folder CDROM1. Then, you extract the 2nd CD and you copy all the files contained in the folder CDROM1 of the 2nd CD to the folder CDROM1 of the 1st CD. And you make that for all the CDs. You will obtain just one folder CDROM1 containing all the programs to install.
It worked fine for me
