Hi

I need for audio project I2S to SPDIF converter!
Is possible make this converter with (low price) microcontroller?
Any ideas?

There are ICs doing this.
Maybe try a search for "audio codec IC".

Btw: s/pdif maybe is replaced by PCM or other standards. Often used: POF with TOSLINK connectors.
In studio maybe still RS-422.

Cypress PSOC has a I2S and SPDIF component as part of the chip resources.
A "component" in PSOC language is an onchip resource.

There is a project example -

If you look at chip catalog, 3'rd window from left, there are I2S components that can be used. The
example is just the SPDIF Tx.

Here are some of the onchip components -

Attached more complete catalog, family is PSOC 5LP.

Compiler and IDE (PSOC Creator) free, board to consider is ~ $ 15.

Regards, Dana.
