Hspice Inverter Dynamic Power

Hello.

I am attempting to characterise the Dynamic Power of a CMOS inverter in Hspice and then verify it using the formula- sf x Cload x Vdd^2 where sf is the switching factor.

What I am essentially doing is-

Code:
.measure TRAN AVG POWER

for the transition periods, i.e. during the high to low and low to high transitions (using 'from' and 'to')

This method outputs very different values (almost a thousand times more) than the actual value that I calculate by hand.

Can someone please help and let me know what the right method for calculating Dynamic Power in Hspice is? Or maybe there is some error in my formula.

Any help is appreciated.
