the answers for ur question are infinite shashir ...the only thing it matters is how will its output signal (square pulse) helps in our ciruit design ....like it helps in binary countnig (1 of the big achievment in digital) , shift register , circuit whose on time is some interval of time (mono-stable) n etc etc etc ...try analysing urself broada
