In system design, we can calculate the bandwidth through the transfer function, but how to sumilate a real circuit pll's bandwidth?

hi! rat:

I think we find estimate the bandwith by inspect PLL's dynamic reponses.

i dont think it is possible to do the simulation,
because the bandwidth is in the phase domain.

The bandwidth of PLL has nolinear character, so spice simulator can not run ac simulation for it.
You have to build a macromodel to linearize PFD, VCO and other blocks in PLL.

when you know the gain of individual blocks , you know the bandwidth
