How to plot the Ratiation Patern in matlab

Hi I am trying to plot the radiation pattern of a directive antenna, the simulator that I am using give me the radiation pattern as show in figure 1 the red color is the strongest signal, but when I plot that radiation pattern in matlab the color red is only in the top of the plot and in the bottom is blue(see figure 2), this is not correct because the blue color means a weak signal. Can someone help me with this plot?.
 

You should check the matlab command you used for plot. The color usually is according to the Z value by default, rather the distance from the origin as you expect.
