can anyone help me out in...........

open .ps files..........

ghostscript
search in google
is it a schematic.ps from ncsim

The adobe acrobat (at least 6.0 version) convert directly the .ps file to pdf format.

There are many ways to open the .ps file, some of them are:

1- The simplest way is using GSView as mentioned before, you can download it from there , note that it also requires Ghostscript pakage in order to work properly, download it from there.

2- Adobe Acrobat Pro version provide a tool called adobe distiller which converts the ps file to a pdf one, but of course you need to have the Pro version, the Reader version will not do that for you.

Are talking about the PostScript files or any of the files generated by the EDA software??
