How to mount USB harddisk's partition?

My USB HD have 2 partitions.One is FAT32 file system,the other is NTFS file system.I can see FAT32 partition on the desktop after start KDE.But I can not find NTFS partition.I use command mount -t ntfs /dev/sdb /mnt/usb.But it can run.which sd? device is my USB HD? how to find this USB's device in /dev?
 

plug the usb device and run command dmesg|more for finding the device

Analyze cat /proc/devices or /sys directory. You will get to know
