sweep time

my project is to use a to d converter.it have two parts an interface card which converts analouge input to digital and then pass this input to computer via parallel port. in pc a software developed in MATLAB will accept the input and displays different wave forms.i m having problem in simulation of sweep time button of oscilloscope in MATLAB any ideas how to implement it.

In a conventional digital oscilloscope, the sweep time knob usually adjusts the ADC's sample rate. Then the scope collects a fixed number of samples (such as 1000), and displays them on the graph.

For example, MATLAB could output a command that sets your sample rate to 1 MHz, then MATLAB collects 1000 samples, and displays them on the graph from 0 to 1 ms. Your sweep time is therefore 1 ms.

hi,

Do you have the source code for this control ?

Thanks
