How to get into vlsi industry ? Want a suggestion....

can anyone suggest me proper way to get into vlsi industry ?
I have 1-year experience @ INTEL corporation (VLSI field).
But presently I am working as lecturer in an Engg. college since 1-year.
I am interested to work in industry very much, but by now I have 1-year gap after working in industry.
 

HoW about going trhough a VLSI course .This will referesh your knowledge .They also have placements.
