hi
may i know how to feed a microstrip in a cylinder?Should I use waveport or lumped port?and also what is the shape of the port since the microstrip is on a cylindrical substrate?

Hi, but the cylinder is a waveguide or what. The cylinder is paraller or orthogonal to the microstrip substrate?

Bye

hi
the cylinder is a hollow cylinder with fr4 substrate and outer layer ground. the microstrip is in the inner side of the cylinder, running parallel along the cylinder.

I think that a wave port is better for this structure.

Bye.

how about the shape of the waveport?
can I use a rectangle waveport in this case?
