How to extract data from .wav file?

Hello I have some data saved in a .wav file. It is modulated in FM consequently i need to demodulate it but i do not know how to implement a FM demodulation.
There exists any models of FM demodulation in wav files?
toopen the wav file i should use wavread?
I do not know how to start.

You should read the data from the wav file, extract the modulated data then demodulate it,
