How to enhance turning speed of cmos vco?

Does anyone has some idea about it? It's related to some parasitic parameters, is it? Thanks!
 

You should further this question to the "Analog IC design forum" there's some people that can tell u this answer,.
 

i think your meaning the tuning speed

tracking this is called you want a faster freq change ???

then this isnt the cmos its your circuit

paste a copy of your vco with problems and let's see
perhaps you have too much capacitance somehwere in your circuit
and this is introducing lag

One way is utilizing an A-MOS varactor, which has wide tuning range, but highly sensitive, make sure the on-chip inductor used is reasonably small, so that the parasitics does not dominates.
