How to design a DIY 915MHz monopole antenna?

Can anyone help me up for this? How to design a DIY 915MHz monopole antenna? Urgent..

hi there

well its not very difficult . you need a metallic sheet to act as a ground plane and metallic wire to make monopole antenna.

the monopole is an antenna which resonates when its length is quarter of wavelength at the operating frequency which is 915MHz in your case

so you need to cut the wire equal to 81mm. and then feed it with the coax cable through the ground plane
