Hi everybody, I still can't decompress *.tar.Z.x by WinZip or WinRAR. I upload the compressed file which name is docs.tar.Z.x. Who can decompress this file successfully? And tell me how to decompress it. Thanks a lot.

if the extension is xxx.tar.gx (that is if gz is there then ) use gunzip

gunzip xxx.tar.gz this will gunzip the file then use tar command

I mean the file name is *.tar.X. Not *.tar.gz
