Hi iam using allegro 16.3,iam new to it. i dont know no how to create separate layers for vcc and ground, can any one help ....................

HI,

Go to XSection option.just click on that.By default only Top and Bottom is there.Right click on first coloumn, you get option add layer above, blow or remove.Using this you can create required number of layers and rename it.

first of all you need to set number of layer you want to use..usually to do vcc and ground plane you need to use 3 or 4 layer..
the top and bottom layer for copper trace (if 4 layer is use). layer 2 and 3 is up to you to define which one going to be set for vcc or gnd..
then you can create a dynamic shape to represent the vcc and gnd plane..
