HI dear
i m simulating convolutional coding in matlab i got stuck in the conversion of SNR to Eb/No required for the awgn(x,snr) function.
plz ellobrate it .
thx
with regards

Eb/No is a normalized signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) measure, also known as the "SNR per bit".
Eb/N0 is equal to the SNR divided by the "gross" link spectral efficiency in (bit/s)/Hz
The relationship between them is simply as the following:
SNR= Eb/No * Rb/BW
Rb--> Net bit rate.
BW --> Channel Bandwidth.

Good luck.
Wishing you all the best.
