How to control the ISL1208 for RTC using ATMEGA 128?

atmega isl1208

i use the ISL1208 for RTC,but i dont know clearly how to control it by ATMEGA 128.
and my mainly question is how to control the registers.
if anybody who konws that and give me some advices, i will appreciate help.
