Communication in PLC MMI

is there anybody know resources for implement PLC MMI ? I need to control PLC from a remote PC. thanks.

Re: Communication in PLC MMI

1. You must know the protocol of the PLC
2. write the the code
3. try it

some PLC use point to point comm thru COM port (RS232/485/422)
so you can talk with it

some use other protocol (profibus, fieldbus, ...can....) so you must buy a prorietary communitcation card before trying to write anything

hope this help

Which PLC do you need a MMI for? There are several companies which make universal type.
