Hi, I have a sublayout cell in with two "gnd" lines which are not electrical connected by a another metal-line. I want to have only one gnd-pin for this cell and I want to connect the lines at the toplevel.

the "gnd"-Pin is located at the first line, the second has only the name "gnd".

Unfortunately, doing AssuraLVS brings an Mismatch error...

I tried something with "joinNets" but even this didn't work. And it's also not possible to duplicate the gnd-pin.

I hope someone can help me solving this problem.

Do these two nets need to be connected only for verification purposes at the sub-block level? If so, you should use the "mustJoinNet Function" in Assura LVS and add the cell and net names. If you are at top level they must physically be connected...

@JoannesPaulus: Thanks a lot,

It works with the "JoinNets" Function. But I still have a rule error concerning the bulk connectors. It seems that only the contacts connected with the right net are recognized and those on the left side, connected with the other gnd net are ignored...

in summary... There is no DRC error, no ERC error and no LVS error but it still opens a Error Layer Window with the rule violation "minority BULK connectors" and "BULK soft connect".

Has anyone an idea to tell Assura that the left contacts are bulk connectors too...?
