I design my power amplifier.
I just want to know what is the class of my amplifier.
I think its AB but not sure.

what is the parameters I need to simulate for verify the class ? What i need to check ?

I am using ADS.

thanks

Noise.

PA class

it depends on the bias point and conductin angle
A : 360 working all time
b: 180 degree working half wave
C: less than 180 degree
AB : larger than 180 and less than 360

u can know them by the bias point , i

can u send the schematic , so we can check

khouly

Re: PA class

I know my VGS and VDS.
I am using ST PD0015 device.

VGS = 4.7V
VDS = 12V

what more i need to check ?
how can i simulate the conduction angle ?
