I want to build a acumulator with simulink,it should have a overflow output,how can I do that?thanks

Hi,
You should use fixed point tool box.
brmadhukar

Can't you use a "sum" and a "1/z" to construct a accumulator?
In fact, I think to construct or writer S-function is sometimes better than use the blockset

can you give me a s-function sample about accumulator, and how to determin the bits of the
accumulator
