Re: A hi-fi system?

You must be a litle more detail in your question. Stereo, mono or multi-channel? How much power do you want per channel? Simple, 2 or 3 ways speakers?
Wich requeriments do you want to THD+N?
Never the less look at www.national.com/pf/LM/LM3886.html it can delivers 68W over 4 Ohms with 1% THD+N. Also take a look at www.chipamp.com/lm3886.shtml
for the same chip. See www.linkwitzlab.com for active cross-over. For complete kits take a look at www.velleman.be , some of their kits have manual with full schematic (at download section). Hopes it helps you.

Re: A hi-fi system?

For a more feature packed system based on the latest technology,
try SigmaDSP from Analog devices.

I have their evaluation board for sale in case you are interested. It retails for $299.
I am selling mine for $150 + shipping.

bimbla.
