avoid transformer saturation

hi:

everybody!
I am using a triac to control the input voltage of the power transformer to control the output power of the magnetron, using in the micorwave oven.
But the transformer is easy into saturation state. In this case, the transformer
behave like a short circuit and the input peak current becomes very high. It is dangerous to the transformer , firing the transformer.
how can I do to limit the overcurrent when the transformer is in saturation. or what is the best way to avoid the transformer into saturation forever.
Fig: magnetron power supply by a triac.
