Hi all,
I am a beginner to Hspice. I want to know the command to plot the current vs voltage curve for a transistor. I mean, how do I plot Id vs VDS for different VGS in Hspice?
Thanks

Re: Hspice Help

Hello suhas_shiv

You should define printing the current, for example.

> .print dc i(mm0)

When mm0 is your transistor name in the netlist.

and during definition of the dc analysis you can use sweep function., for example:

.dc vds 0 5 0.01 sweep vgs 0 5 0.5

Dmitry

Re: Hspice Help

Use Avanwave,
Easy

Re: Hspice Help

Check the manual, for the current there are special symols for Ids/Igs etc. So you need to save them and then plot
