Re: virtuoso

I think you are in UNIX OS, right? You can use snapshot tools, which is provided by Solaris, to take a photo of your layout.

Re: virtuoso

I have heard about "The Gimp" and some particular plug-in... Does somebody know ??

Re: virtuoso

You can print your layout to PostScript format and convert it to any format.
Good luck.

Re: virtuoso

Check the CIW window,
goes into Tools --> Camera --> Raster( for color display, rename extension to .ras in window, use ACDSee or others) or Postscript( for mono, use postscript or adobe to transfer .ps as .pdf)

Regards,

i ever used snapshot to capture the layout or schematic. but the background is black, it is impossible to print them out.

if with your way, will the background back white instead of dark? :?:

Ha!!
You may need extra efforts to work this out!!
1. You can use a mapping table to transfer black to any one you wished.
However, it is hard to accomplish. You may can try, check the HELP from Cadence.

2. An easy way to do is installing a tool which can do color substitution.
In my case, I use SnagIt to modify it...
