How can I derive the Vout/Vp equation for this circuit?

I just can not understand how to get Equation(5.22) .
Please give me a hand.

use small-signal model and get the following equation:

gm(0-Vp)+(Vout-Vp)/ro2+Vout/ro4=0

I think I have to read through the chapcter on single stage once more. Sometimes I can't decide whether I should use the small signal analysis or large signal analysis.
