I am doing some simulations on simple microstrip structures. They are very small, 2 microns thick and about 6 microns wide. Also, they are 3mm long. I don't want to de-embed the solution at this point. Because they are so small with respect to my frequency, I have the solve inside the metal box checked for the lines.

My problem is that the solution converges in HFSS, however when I look at the cross sectional field plots they are not symetric. Looking at the mesh plots does not seem to indicate that the mesh is to big but I am not completely sure.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
