IMG_20140812_235131.jpgI scored this off the college dump . it has a pic18f 45k22 chip. It appears to be some sort of pin distribution board. But i can't identify the board model/ part no./ name. On the back is just written "SOL". On the front under the chip ie in between the socket hole is "CMP ET 12-08 ". Can anyone tell what this board is or called ?

The PIC is the only thing that particularly draws notice. It can be programmed to interact in electronic circuits, and in infinite number of ways.

One cannot predict what it was programmed to do. Nor can one be sure it still works.

The board is pretty much unpopulated except for a few components and connectors. It may have been found to be defective before it was fully assembled.
