Hi ,

I want to simply use a 74LS14 with a couple of trans/reiever photodiode sensor.

the circuit is simple too, the transmitter is directly biased with 100ohm, and the reciver is biased with 10kohm , the reciever output goes to the 7414 input , the problem is:

The sensors work when they are not connected to 7414 ,but when i put the 7414 in the circuit the sendors never answare and there is no voltage change on the input of 7414(output of reciever).

the 7414 works well standalone , when i change its input myself.

Any help is welcome.

try with CD4093(cmos has less source consumption)
