Help me in a design on PIC based calendar alarm

RTC reminder

HI ALL

I need to design a pic based calendar alarm. It has to give a signal in a progammed date and hour. The idea is to use this circuit tas a reminder of medical dates or similars events. I need to get a cos effctive design.

Is PCF8583 good enough for your project? What type of PIC do you want to use? Some details helps..

I have buld a project which made by AT89c51 , DS12887, cd4094, uln2003, seven sigment display , wich show 100 years calender like sec,min,hour, date,month, year,day ,
