I've attached the pictures of the antenna containing both the front and backside pictures, also its geometry.
now i am doing my project in the layout window of ADS.
I don't know how to assign the substrate layers and metallization layers for it.
From the paper i understood that there are three layers viz.,
1. circular feed
2. substrate
3.circular slot.
Can anyone can help me in this regard?

Problem is not clear.
Now i have modified my doubts for to get answers from u.

As i understood u r using aperture coupling and using patch as metallized signal(ground plane) .But i suspect to use patch as ground plane. So deatails required. Or i assume that u connected ground wrong.(NO ground)

My understand is it is direct feed from 50 ohm as we can see the transmission line on one side and GND spread on the other side.
The beauty in this design is the edge of the path is made near to 50 ohm by the gnd open on the other end of circular path.
