I need to create a PCB track to replace a 1.5nH inductor.
How do I calculated the length and width of this track?
Material Er 4.3, t = 12mil, 1oz
Anyone have a pdf on this?

Thanks.
duplex.

Re: Printed Inductor

The inductance of a strip can be calculated as follows (all dimensions in mm):

0.0002*L[ln((2 * L)/(W + H)) +0.2235((W + H)/L) +0.5] uH

L is the length of the trace, W is the trace width, and H is the height of the trace (0.036 mm for 1 oz copper). For example, if the value of L should be 5.6 nH, the inductors could be replaced with an 8.5 mm-long trace with a trace width of 1.016 mm (40 mil).
