Help me choose VCO transistor, Synth chip for FM VCO

I want to design a FM VCO with a step size of 10khz,stereonoise better than 75dB and harmonic distrortion<0.1% and fm response within 0.2dB.Can somebody help me in choosing the VCO transistor and Synth chip and Reference crystal?If some body helps me with schematic it will be helpful.

Sounds to me like you need to look into PLL...Phase-locked -loop systems.............. Do a search on google for PLL and you will find a large amount of answers
