Hi, friends:
I am doing the inductor simulations. I did some simulation based on the data in some papers. But my simulation results are almost half of the Q and half of the peak Q frequency in the papers. I do not know what wrong with my simulations. I asked a RFIC guy. He said most of the paper regarding the inductor design in RFIC field let the inductor work in differential mode. Thus, the Q and peak Q frequency has been significantly improved. But from the paper, no one mentioned the inductor works in differential mode. I am wondering if the RFIC guy word is correct or not. If his word is correct, can anyone show me how to do the Q and L calculation when an inductor working in differential mode.
Thank you so much!
