Help in cadence IC5.1.41

Hi every body,
i have problem which is i can't install cadence IC5.1.41 on Ubuntu v1.7
i am looking for ur help pls suggest me solution. u can see below extracted folders . i dont know how to do installation, the 2nd figure is the cds file and there folders

yes i have used iscp to do setup and i got windo asking me to specify the file of installiation.
my problem i dont know which file is setup file.

Usually, there is a directory that contained a shell script named setup.sh. InstallScape finds archives from this directory.

I have saw your pictures. But these just are some directories. Could you show the contents contained in these directories?

here i attach all the picture of the cadence folder for 2 levels only. i am realy need ur help and i wish u can do that.
i am sorry bcz the photos are big size, resizing will effect the quality.

I am puzzled. These pictures shown, you have installed the software. Why do you say that you can not install it?

ok, the software is not installed, these pictures for the folders of the software, when i try to install the software i got window like the photos below and i cant find step file.

You really have installed the software. If you enter in the directory ic-5.1.41/tools.lnx86/dfII/bin, you will find some commands, icms, icfb, etc.

no i just extracted the files only, i never do setp
any way can u give links to full version of cadence bcz my one it is not working or i dont know how to make it work?

You Need Conform one thing ........


Whether you have binaries like CDROM1 & CDROM2 ............
in CDROM1 files like f0 f1 .................are there
if it is there you can find setup.sh file just run that script ......
it will ask for installation Directory.....................

Whether you havesome thing like cad1514.tar.gz ..........................

let me know what type source you have...........

no i dont have these filesand i am sure there is no setp,sh file. so could u help me in this matter

In CDROM1 File Stucture is like
Setup.sh, Softload.tar,Readme, Installbinxx_86...
some thing like this

if you have softload.tar, then you can un tar it ..............after that you will be have
directory stucture like..............
install, tmp,etc...............
In install floder you can find cdsLoad file .................
just run like this ./cdsLoad .........it will work
