Could someone tell what values of frequency “reuse pattern“ are used
in modern, operational GSM900 networks with “3 sector” BTS stations?
Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

Tipically the reuse patern used is 3/9 or 3/12 that a cluster size of 3 or 4.
Hi hope i have helped.

Dear zhov

The reuse pattern used at GSM 900 are 3/9,4/12 and 7/21

Dear Ibrahim

could you tell me the meaning of these numbers?

Do you mean, for example, 3/9 i.e. 3+3+3 ?
Is this true?

Thanks

Dear Enhancer

I mean by 3/9 that we have a cluster that consists of 3 cells and each cell consists of 3 sectors and so we got 9 sectors as all in this cluster so,the frequencies we have will be distributed over these 9 sectors.some times,in practical life, they call these sectors as cells and said that we have 9 cells, but anyway this doesn't matter as it is important to make coverage for this land

Best Regards
