What is free expansion adiabatic process..
How is it different from adiabatic process

Also, can someone give an example of Free expansion adiabatic process..

When you talk about an adiabatic process, you mean that there is no exchange of energy between the mediums involved. When you have a really fast experiment, even interacting the different mediums you can consider that there is no change of energy, an adiabatic process. That’s the idea of a free expansion adiabatic process.
