hi friends
why is a flyback converter widely used for high output voltage at low power(<5000 v at<15w),why HIGH VOLTAGE at LOW POWER?
thanks a lot:D

Flyback converters are used in low power range and in all output voltage ranges. They are not restricted to high voltage range. They are commonly used because of their simplicity and low component count. However they become not economical at high power ranges because of the large size of transformer required and the high stresses on the power switch.
