I'm using this Ethernet PHY and this MCU as a MAC Controller

Using RMII interface between the PHY and the MAC Controller.

ETH_TX_EN signal is a part of the RMII interface.

When I connect this TX_EN signal (pin 16) from the PHY to pin 118 (PA0) of the MAC Controller, The LAN8720A circuit receives message OK, but messages transmitted are not seen as being valid.

However, when I connect this TX_EN signal (pin 16) from the PHY to pin 81 (Port 80 - Which also has the same ethernet function) of the MAC Controller, then it works fine. The messages transmitter are valid.

Can someone tell me what could be the reason of it? And I have not placed an series termination resistors on the RMII interface signals.

Pins 81 and 118 don't have the same function on the MAC controller.
The RMII TX_EN signal is on pin 81 for the 144-Pin LFQFP package, and on pin 118 for the 176-Pin LFQFP package.
