Hi All

I'm trying to use the SMA_Top_Mount present in the 'basic component list for ADS', provided with the examples of EMPRO.
When I instantiate the layout file of the SMA in my ADS layout, the size of the layout looks small, but it looks proper in the 3D view.
Please refer the fig for the image of layout when I place the SMA_Top_Mount component.(PS: the dimension is small)

And also when I place the instance onto the layout, I get the following warning,

This instance has pins on a layer that is not defined in the technology of "antenna_lib".
You will not be able connect to these pins. The layer number is: -777

The layer name looks empty.
Is there any way to fix it? Will this work only if I have the license for EMPRO?

PS: I don't have the license for EMPRO. I'm just trying to use the example of EMPRO in ADS.

Hi,

You don't need licence for EMPro to access EMPro 3D components in ADS. The reason you are getting -777 error is because of EMPro layer mapping.
You have to manually map EMPro_Layer in ADS to overcome this error message.
