electrolysis questions

hello,
Have 2 questions about electrolysis.
Does the speed of the progress depends on the voltage or the current?
Is it a good idea to increase the surface area of the anode and cathode with tinfoil to increase efficiency?

Hi,

current

(but current depend on applied voltage)

Edit/appended:
You can calculate mg/hour is directely proportional to Amperes.
