If I start developing my own DSP board with a New DSP Chip(not selected yet). What are the things I should consider? What are the detail I should require?
It depends a lot on what you would like to achieve.
Are you doing it real time, what frequency do you plan to go to etc.
Things to consider are:
Obviously speed
RAM available. Some DSP chips don't have enough
Special DSP functions such as bit reverse etc.
