a problem when browsing the tea5777's datasheet

It says that "the IF counter result is a 1-bit output and in-window yes or no and
available via bus control...In both AM and FM modes, two IF window settings
can be chosen by bit IFW".

Then what`s meaning of "IF window" and "in-window"?

Thx for helping^^
