Does SCL, SDA input need to filter potential giltch or noise

i2c glitch

Dose SCL, SDA input need to filter the potential giltch or noise?
i saw some design do that...

I would at least use input pads with a schmiddt trigger

Glitches can be particularly a problem in a design selfclocked from both signals. If an additional system clock is used, it shouldn't be an issue.
